Stunning Calla Lilies!
Hello all! I know everyone is busy with preparations for the upcoming holiday, so this will be a quick post.
I'm very interested in what you prefer.. at the end of this blog, kindly comment on which you would choose!
I had previously done a coffee table with calla lilies on a stained top. Calla lilies seem to be a favorite, so I wanted to try this artwork on a painted piece. I had the exact match to the first coffee table which was waiting to be restored. I started off by painting the base with Velvet Finishes Luxurious and the top with Wise Owl Sterling, which is a white with a grey base.
For the artwork, I used my staining technique with MinWax Ebony. This time, I added a pop of color with a mix of Wise Owl Beeswax and General Finishes Wood Dye in yellow.
