Tips for using glaze with our chalk-style paint:

 

After your last coat of paint, do a very light sanding with a 220 grit pad and remove dust.  Add a coat of our varnish.  Let dry.  I like to apply the glaze with a brush.  Have damp shop towels or baby wipes on hand.  I remove the glaze with a dry shop towel, leaving it in the crevices and edges.  Use a baby wipe or a damp shop towel to remove any excess you don't want.  If you decide you want to add more glaze, be sure you wait until the glaze dries completely.   When you are satisfied with the results, seal your piece with at least 2 coats of varnish.  We offer satin or matte varnish in either pints or quarts.
