Unique & Noteworthy! This well crafted French Provincial desk will keep your attention with all of its exquisite detailing. This is not just a functional piece of furniture, but a mixed media piece of art!

 

I revived this piece by using professional quality chalk and mineral paints and then added layer upon layer of artwork, using stain as the predominant medium. Daisies, Damask, French Bee, Eiffel Tower, Butterlies ~~ you will find a little of all of these elements on this creative piece. These are not stencils, all of the artwork was done by hand using an oil-based stain.

 

The top of the desk is the icing on the cake, but each side has a surprise element as well! Please see the detailed photos i to see all of these little gems!

 

The desk measures 43"w x 18"d x 30"h. It has an accompanied chair which has also been refurbished with matching paints and a coordinating upholstered cushion.
